Soldaten der Legion "Freies Indien"

Aus den in Europa lebenden Indern aller Stämme und Religionen hat sich eine indische Legion gebildet, die, der deutschen Wehrmacht angegliedert . Unser Bild zeigt oben einen Angehörigen des indischen Volksstammes der Sikhs, der als Brückenwache eingesetzt ist. Er kontrolliert jeden, der die Brücke passieren will, auf seine Ausweise. - Unten sehen wir die Ausbildung indischer Freiwilliger durch einen deutschen Unteroffizier, der ihnen den Gewehrgriff in seinen einzelnen Phasen demonstriert.
