For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Junge-19. 8. 1973-Berlin: Ein Anziehungspunkt für die Berliner und ihre immer zahlreicher werdenden Gäste ist der Märchenbrunnen im Stadtbezirkt Friedrichshain(unser Foto). Vor 60 Jahren ließ der Stadtbaumeister Ludwig Hoffmann diesen Brunnen anlegen. Die Märchenfiguren am Rande des großen Wasserbeckens schuf der Bildhauer Wrba, die Tierfiguren auf den Arkaden I. Taschner.
