For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Mittelstädt-19.4.74-Berlin: Plastikzelte für den zusätzlichen Anbau von Treibgemüse in der LPG 1. Mai in Berlin-Wartenberg werden dazu beitragen, das Vitaminangebot für die Hauptstädter zu vergrößern. Die Genossenschaftsbauern Bruno Dauksch (r) und Manfred Schmitt beteiligen sich am Aufbau der fünf Zelte, unter denen Gurken und Tomanten angebaut werden und früher als Freilandkulturen reifen. In einem Zelt können bis zu 4 Tonnen Tomaten geerntet werden.
