For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Gartenbauausstellung ADN-ZB Ludwig-24.8.1975-St.-Erfurt: Iga 75-Bereits am ersten Besuchertag herrschte auf der Gartenbauausstellung der DDR in der Blumenstadt Erfurt reger Andrang. Die Besucher aus den verschiedensten Bezirken der Republik nuetzten ihren Aufenthalt neben dem Studium der in den 14 Ausstellungshallen vermittelten Erkenntnisse bei der Intensivierung der Gemüseproduktion zu Spaziergängen auf dem großzügig angelegten Gelände. Die Länge der Wege und Straßen zwischen den Hallen und Grünflächen sowie den zahlreichen Blumenbeeten beträgt ca. 40 km (Im Hintergrund die Haupthalle).
