For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Heßberg, Meliorationsmaschine, Drainage ADN-ZB Schaar 21.11.75 Bez. Suhl: Moderne Technik wie der Meliomat-Universal hilft den Werktätigen des VEB Meliorationsbau Suhl 170 Hektar Acker und Wiesen der Kooperativen Abteilung Pflanzenproduktion (KAP) Oberland Heßberg, Kreis Hildburghausen, zu entwässern. In diesem Jahr werden die Bodenspezialisten des Betriebes rund 1200 Hektar landwirtschaftliche Nutzfläche dränieren (entwässern). Dadurch können die Erträge auf den bearbeiteten Feldern wesentlich erhöht werden.
