For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Centrum Warenhaus, Verkauf von ungarischen Produkten ADN-ZB Ludwig-8.11.76 Erfurt: DDR-aktuell- "Waren aus Freundesland" bietet das Erfurter Centrum-Warenhaus in einer weiteren schon zur Tradition gewordenen Verkaufswoche seit dem 8.11.76 an. Ermöglicht wurde dieses Vorhaben durch die engen Partnerschaftsbeziehungen zwischen dem Centrum-Warenhaus und dem "Korvin"-Warenhaus in Budapest. Dieser ungarischen Woche- es kommen hier Waren mit einem Volumen von ca. 2,5 Millionen Mark zum Angebot- waren ähnliche Verkaufswochen mit Produkten aus der VR Polen und der CSSR vorausgegangen. Reger Käuferandrang herrscht auch am Stand mit den kunstgewerblichen Artikeln.
