Konferenz von Casablanca

II. Weltkrieg 1939-45 Konferenz zwischen dem amerikanischen Präsidenten Franklin Dolano Roosevelt und dem britischen Ministerpräsidenten Sir Winston Churchill im Januar 1943 in Casablanca. Hier wurde von ihnen die bedingungslose Kapitulation Deutschlands als Voraussetzung für die Beendigung des Krieges festgelegt. U.B.z.: sitzend von links: Churchill und Roosevelt; stehend: Generalleutnant Hastings Ismay und Admiral Lord Louis Mountbatten
