Weitere Qualitätssteigerung im volkseigenen Eisen- und Stahlwerk Gröditz (Preß- und Bandagenwalzwerk erfüllte Qualitätssoll mit 150 Prozent). Mit der Steigerung der Produktion im volkseigenen Eisen- und Walzwerk Gröditz erhöht sich auch ständig die Qualität der Erzeugnisse. Im ersten Quartal 1950 erfüllte das Preß- und Bandagenwalzwerk das Qualitätssoll mit 150 Prozent. Im Betrieb besteht eine breite Wettbewerbsbewegung, die ständig neue Erfolge in der Produktions- und Qualitätssteigerung erringt. Bis zum Oktober 1950 werden im Walzwerk Gröditz zwei Stahl-form-Gießereien mit voller Leistungsfähigkeit entstehen, die für die weitere Entwicklung der Serien-Fabrikation von Maschinen in der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik von großer Wichtigkeit sind.
