For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Frachter ADN-ZB Sindermann 22.8.78 Rostock: Integration - Die sechs leistungsstarken und zuverlässigen 1.200 - PS-Schlepper der "Eisen"-Serie sowjetischer Produktion sind unentbehrliche Helfer der technische Flotte im Rostocker Hafenrevier. Die Spezialfahrzeuge aus der UdSSR sind äußerst beweglich und können gegenüber anderen "schwimmenden Zugmaschinen" auf der Stelle manövrieren. Seit Jahresbeginn haben die insgesamt neun Bugsierschlepper mehr als 2700 Einsätze gefahren. Durch Tag- und Nachtdienst konnten Wartezeiten für die "großen Pötte" im Hafen und zu Reede vermieden werden.
