Rostock, Überseehafen, Frachter ADN-ZB Sindermann 13.10.78 Rostock: Tag der Seeverkehrswirtschaft - Die Handelsflotte der DDR verfügt gegenwärtig über 23 Liniendienste zu vier Kontinenten. Nach mehrmonatiger Reise läuft hier der DDR-Frachter "Eichefeld" in den Rostocker Heimathafen ein. Zu den 13, 5 Millionen Tonnen Gütern, die von den Schiffen in diesem Jahr befördert werden sollen, gehören auch Sendungen in afrikanische Länder wie Angola, Mocambique und Äthiopien. Weit über 200.000 Tonnen Güter wurden im jüngsten Fünfjahrplan-Zeitraum sicher und in hoher Qualität nach Vietnam transportiert. Die rund 200 Schiffe zählende DDR-Handelsflotte verfügt gegenwärtig über eine Gesamtkapazität von 1, 8 Millionen Tonnen Tragfähigkeit.

Rostock, overseas port, freighter ADN-ZB Sindermann 10/13/78 Rostock: Maritime Industry Day - The GDR's merchant fleet currently has 23 liner services to four continents. After a journey of several months, the GDR freighter "Eichefeld" arrives at its home port in Rostock. The 13.5 million tons of goods the ships are expected to carry this year also include shipments to African countries such as Angola, Mozambique and Ethiopia. Well over 200,000 tons of goods were transported safely and in high quality to Vietnam in the most recent five-year plan period. The GDR merchant fleet, which consists of around 200 ships, currently has a total carrying capacity of 1.8 million tons.
