For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Thalheim, Besuch im Betrieb ADN-ZB/Thieme/17.2.81/Bez. Karl-Marx-Stadt/ Kombinat ESDA/ Zu Besuch in ihrer Brigade ist Monika Herfuhrt mit ihrem Sohn André gekommen. Große Freude bei den Frauen aus der Fixiererei des Werkes Thalheim des ESDA-Kombinats. Nach dem "Babyjahr" wird die junge Mutti wieder bei ihnen arbeiten. Bei einem Frauenanteil von fast 75 Prozent sind die vom IX. Prteitag beschlossenen sozialpolitischen Maßnahmen im Kombinat ESDA besonders spürbar.
