Description

This is the head end of a south-bound freight train that was encountered south of the town of Worland, Wyoming, USA in the afternoon of 19 June 2018. The train was being pulled by three Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway diesel engines, all bearing an orange-and-yellow-and-black color scheme.

The lead engine, # 4485, is a General Electric CW44-9 unit, built in July 1999. The second engine, # 8518, is a General Motors Electro-Motive Division SD70ACe-P4, built in 2014. The third unit (not visible here), # 4917, was another CW44-9, built in October 1998.
