English: Wax portrait bust of Liholiho (Kamehameha II), made in London and brought to Hawaii aboard the Blonde with the bodies of the late King, and Queen Kamamalu. Its presentation to the bereaved court in Honolulu by Lord Byron in May, 1825, was the occasion of much grief and weeping. Gift to Bishop Musem (No. 8052) by Mrs. E. K. Pratt, 1897. |
