Summary[edit]

Description
English: Freight train entering Fleet Station on the Down Slow line c1900 with Fleet Pond in the background, probably being hauled by a LSWR Class A12 locomotive. The siding in the picture is now occupied by a car park. The photograph was almost certainly taken from roadbridge next to the station.
It should be noted that when the railway line was quadruppled, the new station was built over the sidings shown in this image.
