Description
English: Original author is the wikipedia community member crenim. This picture misuses the term "Maleic acid". In the vacuoles, "Malic acid" is accumulated and not "Maleic acid" which is the dehydrated form of "Malic acid". "Maleic acid" can be converted into "Malic acid" by hydration, but the main product is "Malic acid" here, so using the term "Maleic acid" is quite misleading. So it should write "Malic acid". This mistake has been corrected by the wikipedia member Rolandbix. This picture can be used under the terms of GNU Free Documentation License.
