Description
English: GROUP OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS AT ANNAPOLIS, ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND. IT USED TO BE A BOAT-BUILDING AND REPAIR COMPLEX. MOST OF THE BUILDINGS WERE BUILT BETWEEN 1913 AND 1942 TO SUPPORT THE BOAT-BUILDING AND REPAIR ACTIVITY OF CHANCE MARINE CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION AND ITS SUCCESSORS, ANNAPOLIS YACHT YARDS AND TRUMPY & SONS

REF. # 99000421. I REALIZE THAT THERE IS A PICTURE ON THE LIST FOR THIS SITE BUT IT IS NOT THE CHANCE BOATYARD BUT RATHER A PICTURE OF HALF A DOZEN MARINAS ALONG THE RIVER. THE SITE IS ON THE NATIONAL REGISTRY BECAUSE OF THE BUILDINGS ASSOCIATED WITH THE BOATYARD. I AM SENDING THIS PICTURE WHICH APPEARS TO BE THE OLDEST BUILDING PLUS THE ANOTHER OF THE LARGEST BUILDING.
