Description
Bahasa Indonesia: NB: Pada tanggal 10 juli 2023 obyek ini sudah direstitusi pada Republik Indonesia.
English: NB: This object was restituted to the Republic of Indonesia by the Netherlands Secretary of State for Culture and Media on July 10, 2023.
Nederlands: Schildering. Twee mannen dragen een meisje op hun schouder het dorp uit. Het meisje krabt met haar rechterhand de wang van één van de mannen open. De schaking is vermoedelijk niet vrijwillig.

Het schaken in Bali is een geaccepteerde gewoonte, en aan bepaalde regels gebonden. Er moeten getuigen bij aanwezig zijn, en het gevluchte paar moet van te voren een verblijfplaats hebben vastgesteld.. Twee mannen schaken een meisje en dragen haar het dorp uit.

NB: Op 10 juli 2023 door de Nederlandse Staatssecretaris van Cultuur en Media gerestitueerd aan de Republiek Indonesië.
