OLIVER PERRY MAY HAVE BEEN BORN ON THE PROPERTY WHICH BELONGED TO HIS GRANDFATHER AND MAY HAVE BUILT THE NOW-STANDING HOUSE AFTER ACQUIRING THE PROPERTY IN 1814

REF. #82000020 NOTE! THIS SITE IS DIFFICULT TO FIND. IT IS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1200 FEET SOUTH ON U.S. 1 FROM CONGDON ROAD. TJHERE ARE NO SIGNS INDICATING THE FARM HOWEVER TWO ROADS JOIN THE HIGHWAY SIMULTANEOUSLY AND ONE IS MARKED WITH A GREEN SIGN NAILED TO A TREE WHICH SAYS "ENTRANCE"
