Description

Life History of COMMON TINSEL (Catapaecilma major) A rare species in Kerala the caterpillars were found on a small tree the whole tree had many of them at various stages of growth,the presence was noticed when an adult was sighted laying egg on the plant

though the caterpillars were heavily attended by ants in groups while rearing they were fine even without ants
