Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Swamp Daisy is a remarkable plant found growing in low, sandy areas between Albany and the Fitzgerald River, WA. It is not a daisy but a myrtle. The white flowers are sterile and the red inner ones are hermaphrodite. It is unusual in having flowers parts in fours instead of fives. Actinodium is a monotypic genus, endemic to Western Australia.
