Description The so-called "bomb farm" abreast the island of the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) during the deployment to Vietnam between 06 November 1970 and 17 July 1971. The bombs are mostly Mk 82 227 kg (500 lb) bombs. In the background three aircraft of Attack Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) are visible: Two North American RA-5C Vigilantes of Heavy Reconnaissance Attack Squadron 6 (RVAH-6) "Fleurs" (BuNos. 156624 and 156625) and a Douglas KA-3B Skywarrior tanker (BuNo. 138915) of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 133 (VAQ-133) "Wizards".
