Français : Les blancs ( Sauvignons blanc et gris), Chardonnay, Chenin) dans leur robe qui va du jaune pâle au doré, éclatent dans des arômes de fruits exotiques, de fleurs, d'agrumes, offrant parfois des touches minérales et des notes boisées ou épicées. Seuls à l'apéritif, ou mariés à des fruits de mer, des poissons,ou des fromages de chèvre (Ô ! Un Sauvignon sur un Chabichou !), ils ont l'art de surprendre et de séduire.
Les rouges ( Cabernet, Gamay, Pinot Noir) offrent sous leur robe rubis des arômes de petits fruits rouges, framboise, griotte, avec des notes de fruits noirs et de subtiles touches d'épices. Souples et gouleyants, ils accompagnent viandes et fromages. Les rosés, légers et fruités, sont un cocktail de fleurs des jardins, de fruits mûrs, d'épices poivrées. Leur pointe de fraîcheur en fait souvent un vin d'été , mais ils sont des alliés délicieux des plats exotiques, de la charcuterie ou des desserts régionaux ( un verre de rosé Haut-Poitou avec une part de broyé du Poitou, c'est tout un pays en bouche). Enfin, ce serait un péché de lèse gourmandise de ne pas succomber à la finesse pétillante des méthodes traditionnelles , des vins conviviaux et élégants qui n'ont rien à envier à leurs voisins de Loire. |
