En lo que alguna vez, fue un importante punto de conexión entre la red longitudinal sur y los Ramales hacia Cunco y Tolten, hoy solo son silenciosas vias, que ven el paso de los escasos trenes que recorren nuestra red por estos días. La llovisna tipica de los amaneceres sureños nos recibe para contemplar el paso del 50078 Procedente de Frutillar y que a su paso recogio carros en RAPACO, OVEJERIA y MARIQUINA.
