| Description |
English: Built in 1907 and 1918, these cabins were constructed in the rustic log cabin style as part of the early development of the Lake McDonald Lodge area by John Lewis, whom bought the land from George Snyder in 1904. Eleven of the cabins date to the initial period of construction and are identical in layout, while two additional cabins were built in 1918. The cabins were listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Lake McDonald Lodge Historic District in 1978. |
