Summary

[edit]
Description

Caesarea Amphitheater is an Israeli music hall that was originally erected during the time of Herod and is now located in Caesarea National Park. The Caesarea Amphitheater is built in a semicircle and includes about 4,000 seats.

The theater in Caesarea is one of the largest and most magnificent discovered in the country, where plays, speeches and performances in the spirit of Roman culture were once staged. At the end of the Byzantine period, the performance area (orchestra) was converted into a pool where water games and competitions were held.
