Summary[edit]

Description
English: The concept of "skull" has different meanings. In this case, it talks about tipical trimmings (candy skulls) placed on mexican ofrendas that make allusion to the death. They are often made with ingredients such as sugar, chocolate, amaranth, etc. and have the name, written in the front, of the dead person that is being remembered. For decoration, colors and small shapes are used in different ways. They are one of the most important trimmings that reflects the "Day of the death" in México.
