The images of the Calbuco eruption were not only spectacular on the ground, but also from space. Here are the MODIS RGB and OMPS AI over MODIS RGB images from yesterday The largest AI value for this cloud was 29.3; that's one of the largest (if not the largest) aerosol index measurement I've seen from any of the BUV instruments. |
