Description
Español: El pueblo de Calnali lleva a cabo el que probablemente es el carnaval anual más grande e importante del estado mexicano de Hidalgo. Mostrando disfraces y danzas que ejemplifican la mezcla de influencies indígenas y europeas conocida como mestizaje, el carnaval es tan importante que representaciones más pequeñas de este son llevadas fuera del pueblo, a lugares como el más turístico Mineral o Real del Monte.
English: The town of Calnali hosts what is probably the largest and most important yearly carnival of the Mexican state of Hidalgo. Showcasing costumes and dances that exemplify the mixing of Indigenous and European influences that is known as mestizaje, the carnival is so important that smaller representations of it are held outside the town, in places like the more touristic Mineral or Real del Monte.
