Description
Español: Entre el 13 de septiembre y el 20 de diciembre de 2015 se celebró el campeonato departamental tacuaremboense de ciclismo de 2015. El evento fue organizado por la Federación Ciclista de Tacuarembó y sus instituciones afiliadas: Peñarol, Club Nacional de Ciclismo, Sportivo Italiano Soledad, Club Ciclista Platense, Club Deportivo Sparta San Isidro y Club Ciclista Sexta Sección. Constó de trece fechas: once pruebas de un día y dos de dos etapas.

Peñarol fue el mejor equipo del certamen. Con ciento cincuenta y tres puntos superó al Sportivo Italiano Soledad por treinta y ocho, el otro conjunto que disputó el liderazgo de este premio. El Club Ciclista Platense con treinta y tres, el Club Nacional de Ciclismo con catorce, el Club Ciclista Sexta Sección con una y el Club Deportivo Sparta San Isidro sin unidades completaron los seis lugares de la clasificación.

El gráfico representa la evolución de Peñarol, Italiano Soledad, Platense y Nacional, fecha por fecha. La paridad entre Peñarol y Sportivo Italiano persistió hasta la novena fecha. Luego, en las últimas cinco, el equipo ganador consiguió sesenta y seis puntos ante solamente veintiuno de su principal rival. La significativa diferencia permitió que Peñarol se afiance en la cabeza de la clasificación y obtenga el premio de manera anticipada, ya que a la culminación de la penúltima jornada aventajaba a su inmediato perseguidor por cuarenta y ocho puntos, veintidós más de los que podían lograrse en la carrera final.
