Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Candi Pringapus terletak di lereng sebelah timur gunung Sindoro di Desa Pringapus Ngadirejo Temanggung Jawa Tengah. Candi Pringapus termasuk Cagar Budaya yang dilindungi berdasarkan UU RI No 11 tahun 2010. Candi Candi Pringapus dibangun pada tahun tahun 772 Ç atau 850 Masehi menurut prasasti yang ditemukan di sekitar candi ketika diadakan restorasi pada tahun 1932. Candi ini merupakan replika Mahameru, nama sebuah gunung tempat tinggal para dewata. Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya adanya hiasan antefiks dan relief Hapsara-hapsari yang menggambarkan makhluk setengah dewa.
