Description
Español: Capitel gótico, con motivos vegetales, de un antiguo inmueble del municipio de Gerona o Girona, al nordeste de España. Fue esculpido en la Edad Media, en la típica piedra gerundense, con fósiles de nummulites. Medidas de la pieza original: altura de 31,5 centímetros; anchura máxima 25,5 cm. Conservado en colección privada familiar, en el barrio o sitio de La Rodona (Girona). Debe proceder del claustro de una antigua iglesia desamortizada. Los nummulites son fósiles que parecen pequeñas monedas.
