| Description |
English: 16 September 2008. Carew Road, Tottenham N17 looking eastwards from near the junction with Kimberley Road.
This is part of a large set of photos showing errors made by Haringey Parking Service in the road markings for Controlled Parking Zones. Ray Dodds and I worked closely together to gather evidence on incorrectly marked lines and signs. We pressed ex-councillor Brian Haley - then "Cabinet" member for the Environment - and his senior officers to 'own-up' to these mistakes and correct the errors. Carew Road was added to the Tottenham Hale CPZ (Controlled Parking Zone) in January 2007. These bays and every other bay in this street were wrongly marked with double white lines at the ends. |
