English: C. Fink, Managing Editor
»MR. CARL FINK, the editor of the review and manager of the news agency, was a " free lance " journalist for some years before 1889, the date of his first appointment on the staff of a newspaper. He was engaged in newspaper work in the United States of America for four years, after which he occupied an important position on the Conservative paper, Die Post, in Berlin. During his residence in Shanghai, Mr. Fink has taken a prominent part in the social life of the community, and has endeavoured in a variety of ways to promote the interests of his fellow countrymen. It was in large measure due to his initiative that the " Deutscher Konzert Verein " was founded, and that the German A.D.C. was revived in 1905 after a lapse of many years.« • Arnold Wright, „Twentieth century impressions of Hong-kong, Shanghai, and other Treaty Ports of China“, London Lloyd's Greater Britain Pub.
