Description
This vessel was built in 1855 in Dundee, Scotland by the Gourlay Brothers (Yard no. 2) for Peacock of Arbroath and named Pavo. In August 1856 she was bought by the Petersen brothers of Randers and given the name Randers. In 1868 she got four joint owners and was lenghtened at the Burmeister and Wain shipyard. In 1871 she was taken over by D.F.D.S, serving there until 1901. That year she was bought by C. Wienbergs Stenhuggerier of Copenhagen. Scrapped in December 1912. Source: jmarcussen.dk (in Danish).
