English: manipulated photograph of the Carlist pretender Carlos VII and his General Staff, some time during the Third Carlist War. Left to right: José Suelves, Rafael Tristany, Carlos VII, José Ponce de León, Isidoro de Iparraguirre and José de Zubiri. Original photo taken possibly by a French photography pioneer Nadar, and following mechanical manipulation (mountainous background and snow added) released as a Carlist propaganda postcard in the 1880s. Other versions of this postcard feature the claimant in the same setting, but alone
