| Description |
English: Manor house in Arenillas de Nuño Pérez, (Palencia, Castile and León). Popular tradition attributes the lot on which builds this construction of the 16th-17th century to count Nuño Pérez de Lara, which, reportedly, had a few hives (arniellas) in this town that was tenente. Hence the name: Arenillas de Nuño Pérez.This House is also known as "House of Lions" by having the image of two lions at its entrance until the beginning of the 20th century. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Español: Casa solariega en Arenillas de Nuño Pérez (Palencia, Castilla y León). La tradición popular atribuye el solar sobre el que se edifica esta construcción del siglo XVI-XVII al conde Nuño Pérez de Lara, el cual, al parecer, poseía unas colmenas (arniellas) en este pueblo del que era tenente. De ahí el nombre del mismo: Arenillas de Nuño Pérez. Esta casa se conoce también como "Casa de los Leones" por disponer de la imágen de dos leones en su entrada hasta principios del siglo XX. Actualmente se desconoce su paradero. |
