Español: Al fondo Monumento de Aquiles Serdan, uno de los hermanos iniciadores de La Revolución Mexicana
Originario de Puebla, Puebla, se afilió desde 1909 al Partido Antirreeleccionista e hizo intensa propaganda en favor de Francisco I. Madero; fundó un periódico y un club antirreeleccionista en la clandestinidad. Después de las elecciones de 1910 huyó a Estados Unidos. Después, recibió de Madero el encargo de organizar la rebelión en el estado de Puebla. El 18 de noviembre de 1910, un grupo de gendarmes dirigidos por Miguel Cabrera, jefe de policía de Puebla, asaltó la casa de Serdán, que estaba convertida en arsenal. El propio Serdán, su hermano Máximo, su hermana Carmen y otras personas se resistieron, y fueron sitiados por 400 soldados y cerca de cien policías. En un sótano hizo Serdán la última resistencia; allí fue muerto. Es considerado como uno de los primeros que ofrendaron su vida por la causa de la revolución mexicana.
