PLEASE, NO invitations, graphics or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks. The bridge is a bascule bridge that spans the Fore River, connecting South Portland and Portland, Maine. The bridge carries four lanes (two in each direction), a bike lane in each direction, and a pedestrian sidewalk on the east side of the span. I was on my way to the Portland Airport to meet up with Yvonne (from California) for the New England trip, all the pictures are the journey that would follow. We have been in contact and friends since we met in Switzerland 8.75 years ago. |
