English: Toulouse Cathedral – Chapel of Our Lady of the Angels. Chapel of Our Lady of the Angels. Built under the bishop of Jean d'Orleans in the early sixteenth century, the chapel has since the beginning been dedicated to the Virgin as evidenced by the keystone that represents it. The gilded wooden altarpiece depicting the Assumption was destroyed. The Chaeplle was restored from 1872 to 1873 under the direction of architect Edmond Chambert. She will receive a group sculpted by Mathieu (student Falguière) "the Virgin surrounded by Angel"
Français : Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Toulouse – Chapelle Notre-Dame-des-Anges. Érigée sous l’épiscopat de Jean d'Orléans au début du XVIe siècle, la chapelle à depuis été dédié à la vierge comme en témoigne la clef de voûte qui la représente. Le retable en bois dorée représentant l’assomption a été détruit. La Chapelle a été restauré de 1872 à 1873 sous la direction de l'architecte Edmond Chambert. Elle recevra un groupe sculpté par Mathieu (élève de Falguière) "la Vierge entourée d'Ange".
