Description

I am not sure if Cathedral Peak is in this picture but if it is it is the large spire I have highlighted with a note. My Mother came out to visit us in South Africa shortly after Dad died so we thought of somewhere special to take her. The decision was taken to have a short break at the Cathedral Peak Hotel high in the Drakensberg Mountains on South Africa's border with the mountain kingdom of Lesotho. It was perfect and we took advantage of most of the facilities including horse riding on the lower slopes. Mum passed on this activity but she did beat us at bowls on their wonderful greens.

If you ever get the chance I can really recommend a visit and stay.
