Summary[edit]

Description Cavernous interior of the helmet- shaped central building of Phnom Penh's Central Market. Love that pillar mounted clock at the centre! Surprisingly, all the action appeared to be outside. In here, most of the stalls, at least here in the central lobby, were selling silver jewellery. There were so many stalls, but hardly any takers for the silver jewellery. Silver jewellery seems to be a big thing in Cambodia, for I later spotted several stalls selling the precious metal a couple of days later in Battambang as well. (Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Apr/ May 2014)
