Cylinders represent neuronal minicolumns, and hexagons represent the astroglial matrix (d–g). Bioelectromagnetic fields associated with neuronal activities in minicolumns (d), which modulate local field potentials (LFPs) (e). Ca2+-associated bioelectromagnetic fields can modulate LMFPs (f). Neuron–astroglial biomagnetic crosstalk (g). |
