Description
Español: Este edificio acogió durante décadas la Casa-Escuela de Ponte, un lugar de encuentro y aprendizaje de los niños/as de esta aldea. La clase se localizaba en la planta baja y arriba, en el primer piso, estaba la casa donde vivía el/la maestro/a. Fue construída a inicios de la decada de 1930 y estuvo abierta hasta que, en 1976, entró en funcionamiento la agrupación escolar CEIP Eduardo Ávila Bustillo, situada en la aldea de A Veiga. Este nuevo centro agrupó las/os niñas/os de las distintas aldeas del municipio e implicó el cierre de las antiguas escuelas rurales unitarias.
