English: Entrance to Chenonceau Castle in 1942 during the German occupation of France during the Second World War. The castle has the particularity of being crossed by the line of demarcation which delimits the free zone of the occupied zone, from 1940 to 1942. To the left of the drawbridge of Chenonceau, the German sentry box with its patterns in chevrons.
