| Description |
Français : Au XVIe siècle, le domaine de Romainville est englobé dans la propriété du château seigneurial. Il appartient à Philippe Rameau en 1796, puis au baron Jean Charles Davilliers, régent de la Banque de France, qui meurt en 1846. Son fils Charles (1795-1868) fait bâtir le château actuel qui reste dans la famille jusqu'au début du XXe siècle. La ferme et le domaine de Romainville sont alors acquis par M. Deutsch de la Meurthe. La petite-fille de Charles, Marguerite Davilliers (1861-1944), devenue religieuse, cède le parc et le château aux sœurs franciscaines Missionnaires de Marie pour leurs activités charitables. Les Petits Frères des Pauvres utilisent ensuite la propriété pour l'accueil des personnes dont ils s'occupent. |
