English: Political satire on Louis-Philippe's fall from power: in the foreground, a showman wearing a cap and cravat faces an audience as he points a stick at a puppet show behind him, in which Polichinelle wearing a Phrygian cap over his long hair clutches a large club ending in a fist and lettered 'Pouvoir', while next to him an aristocrat holds his arms up in horror at the sight of Louis-Philippe hanging backwards over the edge of the stand, on the side of which are various pamphlets including three on political issues, the September Laws, a police ordinance announcement and a prohibition of gatherings; scene in a park or public garden, a large building in the background
