Summary[edit]

Description
English: Thirty people came to Parliament on the 15th April to take part in the Global Day of Action against Military Spending, a day called and supported by forty organisations in the UK. A piece of street theate was performed to dramatise the spending decisions made by governments and show how their priorities are so different to that of ordinary people. A student received military hardware instead of funding for his tuition fees. An engineer received funding to work on military projects instead of renewable energy and an injured man received an aircraft carrier instead of medical treatment. Photos: Edurne Aginaga
