Summary
[edit]DescriptionChapel Of Our Lady Presidio SF July 1973.jpg |
English: The Chapel of Our Lady is located on the Presidio of San Francisco. It was originally built in 1864 as a Protestant Episcopal chapel for the Army soldiers and families stationed at the Presidio. A larger Protestant chapel was built on the post in 1932 and this chapel was used for Roman Catholic services. The building was remodeled in 1952 and the stained glass windows were added. The Presidio was transferred to the National Park Service in 1994 and The Chapel of Our Lady is currently used for wedding ceremonies, meetings and other events.
