Description
English: The charcoal sector employs about 1% of the Namibia labour workforce under the agriculture sector. Women are increasingly taking up roles in this sub-sector. In a recent survey of the biomass sector (2019/20) charcoal processors employed about 1,350 workers, of which 46 per cent were female.
