Photographie « 23 déjeuners chez IKEA et autant de trajets pour s’y rendre. » Art Souterrain, Zone 4 : Palais des congrès de Montréal « I LOVE SWEDISH CUISINE questionne la représentation de l’identité culturelle dans la marchandisation commerciale ainsi que le pouvoir de la nourriture dans un rapport transitionnel avec notre consommation quotidienne. Composée de plusieurs déjeuners américains servis chez IKEA, la plus suédoise des compagnies de meubles, l’œuvre s’affirme comme une documentation paradoxale d’un entrecroisement de territoires culturels. À la façon d’un transit ou encore d’un raccourci, le déjeuner est évoqué commeune voie qui sert à déplacer des foules pour les inciter à la consommation de meubles bon marché. « I LOVE SWEDISH CUISINE questions the representa- tion of cultural identities. Composed of several pictures of English breakfasts served and eaten at IKEA, a Swedish company, the project is a representation of the paradox revealed by the intersection of cultural territories.
